To avoid rain or heat, we go under the shelter of a tree, but we don’t know the details on how the tree grew from seed to canopy. Nowadays, the phrase is used to thank others and to express gratitude.
Nikkeijin Kai of Colorado has survived and thrived since 1907 thanks to those that came before us and unsung heroes behind the scenes. Nikkeijin Kai hopes to be a shelter for future generations just like past generations have been a shelter to us. お陰様で。
